No option to vote more than once? I voted Honda, since I had it the longest (5 years). I'm still driving it until I can sell it, and get the S40. Before the Accord, I drove a Ford Tempo for two years.

No multiple choice, hence:

- Audi, voted in poll (my favorite except for the Volvo)
- Fiat
- Saturn

 

I had a Buick for about two weeks, my first car handed down from my parents.

Handling was so poor, and braking even worse, that it ended up wrecked in what should have been an avoidable crash. (I wasn't driving, for the record.)

I replaced it with a 740ti, and my whole family followed suit. After years of crash after crash, it all stopped when we switched. Never looked back.

Toyota got a fair trial, the rest were GM of one brand or another. With the exception of a couple of American Motors in the first years.

I guess I'm forgetting the two Saab's just after the Rambler's. A '63 850 two stroke and a '68 with the V4. I even still have the owner's manual for the '68.

Only owned a Volvo per se, but didn't own but was the only driver of a 86' Pontiac 6000 wagon. The horror....roughly the power of a riding mower (60someodd hp, yet in a V6 with little to no torque), horrible brakes (not sure, but I think it was drums all the way around), bad seats for any trips over 100km, and maybe the only thing I liked about it was that you could open the whole tailgate and glass seperately, came in real handy for hauling some smaller stuff. It would make a great option for Volvo Estates, IMO, maybe with a power option to open and close at the touch of a button.

Well then...aren't you special? I've seen, own, driven sh!et... and then one day the V70 shows up in front of my house...quite the dependable car... lacks power though.

Currently Mazda is our "other" make, but we've owned many other vehicles in the past, most notable (and Swedish

) was our Saab.

 

1993 Toyota Celica Alltrac Turbo - 1993 was the last year imported, and even then, only 81 were brought into the U.S.

I sold it last year for a 2004 S60R.

The cause of death is not yet known, but said magazine was open in an article announcing the auction of a 1993 Celica Alltrac Turbo, of which 25 are known to remain in the world, for the record-breaking amount of $1,354,400. The coroner's office will release a report after the subject's autopsy is performed.

I had a friend in High School who's Mother had a 1971 Volvo P1800 and her Mom's boyfriend had a 1979 Volvo 240/242 or something like that and, I fell in love with Volvos then but never got around to getting one, now pardon the pun but it is now truely "Volvo for Life"!
