First of all, great site! I'm really looking forward to watching this community grow.
Now then, I have been using a PalmPilot for about 4 months now. These things are incredible (yes, it has changed my life - I've ditched my Franklin planner), and the furture is wide open for their application. Aside from the emails, appointments, and to-do lists that I'm able to manage with this device, I also take advantage of the web-clipping service provided by Avantgo. This provides PalmOS/Windows CE devices and web-enabled phones with content from websites like Yahoo, USA Today, CNNfn, and the Weather Channel. It can also be used with sites like Expedia.com to plan trip and download maps. The service simply updates my Palm everytime I sync my computer.
Anyway, the service is adding new website "channels" all the time. It would be great if SwedeSpeed would be one of these channels. This would allow guys like me to grab the latest forum updates to read later while trapped in boring meetings. I might even write replies off-line to be posted the next time I sync. It would also allow me to keep some of the good techical info from the site onhand when I'm out working on the car. (I do this already by cutting and pasting from forum posts and placing in notes on my Palm) My guess is that many people who drive Volvo's also use Palms. It would be another great way to build the SwedeSpeed community.
The following links take you to Avantgo. From what I've read, it sounds like creating a channel is a pretty simple affair.
http://avantgo.com/frontdoor/index.html
https://avantgo.com/developer/web/index.html
Again, great site! Keep up the good work.
