I had a European plate on my 850. It just required it as it had that cut-out on the front bumper for one. But, boy did that frame get battered-and-broken from sitting on the front of that car. Although, as far as I know, nobody even makes a metal plate frame. What gives?!
I wish my S60 had holes in the front bumper for a plate. It doesn't, so I can't justify putting holes in for my old license plate... Hmm... We'll see. Maybe I will... (eventually, when the "new"-ness wears off
