On the subject of sways.............

The popular thought is that stiffer is better. Don't fall for that right away. You'll find that the faster track times do not all coincide with the stiffest ride. In most street cars you don't have race car stiff suspension but you still need to get the sway bars set up for the Oversteer or Understeer balance you want. Understeer is safer, Oversteer can be a handful, but faster.
Re: sways (JimLill)

I was just wondering if the R stock sways would be a improvment over the standard S60 sways.I currently have 25mm front and rear.
Re: sways (volvosince16)

If you have two 25mm sway bars, then you probably have the IPD Track-spec bars. The factory bars are 23.5mm (F) and 21mm (R) on the SR (it's 23.5mm 22mm for the VR).

I like just the 25mm rear bar with the stock 23.5mm front bar. Helps keep the under-steer down a bit.
Re: sways (jrgoffin)

Sorry for the dumb q, I don't have an R yet but was wondering, is the OEM rear anti-sway bar adjustable or fixed?

Also, the aftermarket 25mm bars, are they adjustable and come with endlinks?

I thought in 07 the rear sways were the same as the front fronts on the SR.
Re: sways (ElectroMike)

FWIW.........

the adjustable endlinks do nothing to change the sway stiffness. Their function is to get the sides balanced and overcome tolerance issues.
Not sure anyone answered the OP. I think his question is simply:

If he wants to upgrade his sways would the stock R sways be an upgrade in a non R S60?
