I have a 2004 XC70 with a hidden hitch installed. We have a small travel trailer that we will be towing. I have an appointment to have a sway controller installed. I don't know much about a sway controller, other than it will make the trailer more stable and safer to tow. I am getting some sway when a big truck passes me, haven't experienced any high wind areas yet, but those can create sway too. I am not very experienced at towing yet and I want to be safe. Is there anything special I need to know or tell the RV place that is installing the sway controller? Will just a standard sway control device work or do I need something different because of my Volvo?
Thanks,
Rose

Standard one will work. They make a big difference. JRL, its a friction type clamp that mounts to the hitch and trailer and keeps it from weaving around.
