Got my new used SvR Exhaust installed today ...did it myself, really easy ...but my worry and question is....On the rear section, it is touching what I would guess is the Haldex?? It is a metal gray boxy looking thing just infront of the "rear-end". Is this normal and or ok for this?? Will it melt or hurt anything in the lon run?? Do I need to adjust the hangers or anything??

It's the actual exhaust "bend" that it causing it to touch it. I un-bolted the 2 rear hangers and it stayed in that spot, it did not drop down at all. And the mid-section isn't on upside-down.

Remove the hangers and loosen the v-band clamp and see if you can adjust it so it hangs a bit lower.
If that doesn't work shim the rear dual-post hanger bracket down (the one right below the sway bar) by inserting washers between it and the body.

You may also think about wrapping about a foot of it in that area with some asbestos header wrap

Ok, so I put 6 washers inbetween the bracket and the body on both sides and it didn't do a dang thing...all it did was smoosh the rubber hanger and make it "tilt" off-center.
I guess I am going to have to thrown it on a lift and pry and pull down on the pipe to bend it a little bit?? Anyone go any other ideas??
I tried loostening the V-Band too, it worked, the top was pulled away more than the bottom of the flange, but as soon as I tightened it, it pulled itself back together and was touching again...
It is def. touching the Haldex...I looked around and it says "Haldex" right on it. But the only place it's touching is at the very bottom where it curves around one of the bolts on the body of the Haldex....
I know this sounds very confusing, hopefully someone can picture what I mean...I'll post up a pic tomorrow and you can see exactly what I mean.

Fits good that way.
