Would not be so much on top, more like on bottom.

It's not such a far fetched idea, VAG/VW is working on a I hope soon to be production model Diesel right now that utilizes both.
Best of both worlds, low end boost with SC driven by pulley and top end with turbo driven by gasses.. once they've been generated.
.. "Turbo" or for some a second SC.
Turbo by definition is considered a form of supercharger.

Re: Supercharger on R? (ljjones)

HKS had a twin-charged MR2 a few years back.

remember those supercharged MR2 back in the 80's? they bolt on a turbocharger as an addition, I've driven it and it was insanely fast.

It's not a new concept, it's been done before, with relatively ease. just a matter of anyone who's interested.

adding a supercharger wont necessarily increase the amount of boost to the engine.
it is simply an idea of efficiency by having a good amount of boost throughout the entire RPM range, rather than having boost at low rpms and tapering off in the high end (supercharger), or vice verca with a turbo.

good luck!!
