what ya thing? anyone tried it? I'm sure it can be done.<p>supercharger setups are not as hard as your typical turbo setup <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

im confused...you want to throw a supercharger on top of an existing turbo setup?

Would you remove the turbo? I think there would just be too much boost for an engine this small.

HKS had a twin-charged MR2 a few years back. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"> <br>remember those supercharged MR2 back in the 80's? they bolt on a turbocharger as an addition, I've driven it and it was insanely fast.<p>It's not a new concept, it's been done before, with relatively ease. just a matter of anyone who's interested. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"> <BR><BR>

adding a supercharger wont necessarily increase the amount of boost to the engine.<br>it is simply an idea of efficiency by having a good amount of boost throughout the entire RPM range, rather than having boost at low rpms and tapering off in the high end (supercharger), or vice verca with a turbo.<p><br>good luck!! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0">
