Has anyone else noticed how perfect the sunroof on this car is? It's one of my favorite features!
No wind noise under 80KPH and the interior temp is continually maintained.
Basically, I have a tough time telling sometimes whether or not it's open!
Unless it's raining or snowing, I just drive with it open pretty much all the time now, regardless of temp.

You must like sunroofs more than I do. I didn't want one, my wife did. Therefore, I was outvoted and I now have a sunroof that I never, ever use.
Some people love 'm, some don't. Glad you enjoy yours. I would rather of saved some money. Does the sunroof tilt up, slide back in the roof, or both. I really like my sunroof on my 745 which does both. Just wondering what Volvo is doing on their new cars.

The new V70's moonroof tilts up in the back or retracts back into the roof to open. Unfortunately, the back will tilt up, but you still need to manually slid open the sun shade to get any airflow. This makes it possible possible to drive around with the back tilted up without knowing it. A real bummer if it rains or you decide to run through a quickie carwash. The sunroof on my '88 760 did not have the moonroof w/ sunshade, so it was a one-step process, and I always knew when it was open.
Bruce's $0.02

I will say that the V70 sunroof is a very nice design. I especially like the intuitive control button. Just push or pull in the direction that you want the glass to move. Slick. BUT...like Bruce, I don't like big holes in the top of my car. That's what preference is all about though. "Viva le paper towels," I always say.
- Darell
