Hi! I'm new to the forum. <br>I was wondering if the sunroof on the 2004 XC90 came with a wind deflector. I have seen other Volvos with them. It would help when the sunroof is fully open.<br>Thanks!<p>

There is a piece that should pop up as soon as the sun roof opens about 1/4 of the way back. If you mean the rain guard that sticks up whether the sunroof is open or closed, then no. Thats an accessory.

The black piece that raises as the sunroof is open was introduced on the 05 and up XC90's if I remember correctly. This was talked about before. I think the part is like $100 and can be added if you want it.<p>Tim

The price of the wind deflector for my XC90 '06, from Boston Volvo Village was right at $60. Very easy to install and does the trick <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>Until I got it, I hardly ever used my sunroof. Now as the weather is cooling, I will be enjoying ever more.<p>Contact John. He's very nice and knowledgable.
