Summer Tire Recommendations? S60 R

I'm finally done with my OEM Pirelli's. I've done a bit of searching (mostly on this site) for suitable high performace summer tires.

Seems like most people suggest the Michellin PS2's. I priced some out last weekend and they were approaching $1500.

Any other ideas?

Dunlop Direzza Star spec are just plain awesome. Not sure of the price
