does anyone know of the specs for where the sub frame should be set i had to losen it to do a power steering line and it shifted a tad but im pretty sure its off my steering wheel sqeaks a little and i can hear the engine more

any thoughts

It has very little room to move, just loosen them all again and re-tighten evenly. If that doesn't work come back with results

On P2's Volvo has no gauge pins or any other method os subframe alignment. The bosses that stick down off the body ar supposed to be centering for the bushings and in turn the centering for the subframe.

P1's have gauge pins but that subframe is a whole 'nother animal.

Check the rubber grommet that is at the point of entry for the steering on the driver's side foot well. It sounds like it has popped out of place.
