Re: sub option for the S60R (R_Rated)

7" and ported in a small enclosure. I would pass. Unless you like listening to your bass at a low volume. Put a little "rump shaker" in the cd unit and you will surely blow it up. I just put 2 10" Rockford's with a 300 rms Rock amp and a 1/2 ladar cap in. Stock head unit. (I am not a roll the windows down and let the world hear me) But if I was, they would. Perfect compliment to the existing head unit in the R.

Re: (R_Rated)

I am pretty sure they are 8" in the R. 6 of them/ 2 in each front door/ 2 rear door/ 2 rear deck. I tried the 7" option from infinity and my system sounded better with it off. Of course it was in the trunk.

Re: (JonnyEnglish)

I have put 2 of them in the trunk and hung them upside down from the area where the rear speakers are at, this way they are out of the way, can't be damaged as easily by stuff in the trunk and the sound comes in better. They sound good and they also have a remote control you can put anywhere. The remote control units are about 1" wide by 4" long by 1" deep. I am going to mount them in the cup holder area with my ipod soon. I hate having drinks in the cup holder area as I'm always hitting them with my arm or shirt sleeve when I shift.

Re: (Lake Powell)

If you go with a Rockford Fosgate amp, all of them come with a gain knob that you can put anywhere. That knob alone is 50.00us dollars. I put mine between the center counsel and the passanger seat. So I can adjust it at any time. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif
