I recently discovered that my '89 765 has a problem with the spark plug hole on the 2nd cylinder. The plug I changed out was only halfway in and difficult as hell to get out. I managed to without breaking the old plug but found that the new plug would only go in halfway. The threads appear to be good but look a little rusted. <br> Anyway I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with IPD'S repair kit? Oddly enough the car runs fine without a fully seated plug and did before. The plug was changed at the 200K service by and independent shop and the car has 209K on it now.
