That's a Dolby PLII, DTS, Dolby Digital 5.1 Digital Signal Processor control pod. The DSP itself is under the hat shelf. The computer is connected to it via a custom optical Toslink cable and the XM tuner is plugged into one of its analog inputs.<p>That way I have full control of volume, parametric equalization etc. with out fiddling with PC slider controls.<p>The audio card is an HDA Xplosion 7.1 that outputs DTS Connect and Dolby Digital Live via optical.
