In the process of what type of aftermarket system to install and ran across StreetDeck @ mp3car.com. Any thoughts about this system?

Re: StreetDeck (campwc)

I'm running it. It rocks for a CarPC frontend. Beats the pants off any other frontend out there.

Re: StreetDeck (StaggRLee)

Im assuming you have this in a V70. Did you have it installed or DIY? My attraction to this unit is the all-in-one feature. Im not crazy about having to add the components that Volvo has available.

Re: StreetDeck (luke8302)

That's a Dolby PLII, DTS, Dolby Digital 5.1 Digital Signal Processor control pod. The DSP itself is under the hat shelf. The computer is connected to it via a custom optical Toslink cable and the XM tuner is plugged into one of its analog inputs.
That way I have full control of volume, parametric equalization etc. with out fiddling with PC slider controls.
The audio card is an HDA Xplosion 7.1 that outputs DTS Connect and Dolby Digital Live via optical.
