Before anyone can say " Search!" I did a search and didn't find anything, maybe its me or maybe I didn't see it but anyway, does anyone know what the stock boost pressure should be on a 2004 S60R GT with 101,000 on the clock if it was PROPERLY maintained? With a mid level gauge installed in a selfmade pod on the door, I am getting 10 psi and peaking at 12! That may be correct but it seems a bit low, I was thinking 14 peaking at 16 or so but am I in dream land?

Stock boost pressure on the R is 14.7 per the specs acount for 1.0 PSI +- pressure drop you should still see about 13.5-14 on a boost pressure gauge... I would check your wastgate setting, then inspect the TCV and the boost pressure sensor... Both those parts will eventually go and if you are over 100K miles and don't know the history on either one you may want to think about replacing them eventually. Hope this helps. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

I read we were supposed to be around 16 psi stock. For me, I was around 12-13 after two thimble turns. Then I did the thimble adjustment correctly with a gauge to measure when it opened, and ended up needing 6 turns. Now I'm at 16 psi on WOT, and spike on occasional shifts to 19 psi. Seems to be quicker too, which doesn't suck.
