Ok.. i know this info is somewhere... but ive been looking for it and cant find a reliable source... i have the stock 14 inch steel rims on my 1983 242.. and i need to know the stock size so i can get some new tires.. any help is appreciated... thanks...

Actually the correct OEM size is 185/70-14 for sedans, 185R14 for wagons (equivalent to roughly a 78 sidewall - gave them a little extra safety margin for extra cargo.)<br>

Yeah, tirerack is wrong about 195/70/14.<p>Look at the sticker on the door or door jamb. Mine both have 185 / 70 / 14
