Anybody else find the 2.5T steering preferable to the T6? The latter is variable-assist, but I found it much to light for my taste. Meanwhile 2.5T had the same (good) feel at any speed. Just looking for other opinions.

Several media reports have said the same. Motor Trend, IIRC, thought the 2.5T was "vague". Go figure.
jvincent

Re: Steering (rkuehn)

I personally like the steering on the T6. It's so easy to steer the XC90 from start and while parking. Once it gets going, steering gets tigher depending on the speed which I like especially when cornering. The wooden steering wheel makes you feel like you have a million buck!

Re: Steering (rkuehn)

I liked the 2.5T steering better, and also liked the way the leather steering wheel felt in my hands. My wife prefered the steering of the T6 (took less effort), but I think you lose that sporty feel that makes the XC90 more fun to drive than your average SUV. For some reason the wood wheel feels too large to me?
