I'm looking to swap an '05 steering wheel into an '01 and keep the functionality of the radio and cruise controls. The wiring on the car's clock spring is 6 wires straight across leading to a male connector. The '05's wheel has about 8 wires, and a 12 in male connector. Does anyone know how I can splice these together to make them work? (the colors on the wheel's wires are not the same as the ones on the clock spring..)

well, i was thinking that I could just swap the clock spring, but Justin destroyed it. Do you know if the early sport wheel plugs are different than the later ones? How about navi and non-navi plugs? <p>the controls for the wheel that's coming out are completely different and built into the wheel.

...I know where it is - the question is if the one plug is the same (to the spring) for both nav and no nav
