I have a volvo 240 dl wagon that had some weird electrical problems such as a ground wire from the battery dangling freely in the engine, a cut ignition ( exciter) wire on the alternator and some cut wires in the back hatch. Anyway I've been trying to get it driveable again and I need some help on where to put some wires. There are two red wires (positive) and one blue (negative or ground) that seem as though they could attach to the starter.(one red comes from the battery and the other red seems to come from the alternator. The blue is also from the battery.) Do they all go on the positive (B+) starter post or does the negative wire go to something else. Currently the car starts but will not stay charged and I am trying to get everything in its right place. Basically what I'm asking is where do these three wires go? I've looked at wiring diagrams but they haven't helped with this much
