CEL was on as well as the code P0107, I think. I checked it and it was related to MAF sensor. I thought that it was from me driving with MAF sensor disconnected. So I cleared the code and cleaned the sensor.
But the car still stalls soon after starting as soon as RPM go down. After a few tries I connected the OBD scanner and found out that there were no codes.
The car would still start and run without MAF connected.

I had an issue with my fuel rail sensor that would make the car stall and threw a CEL as well as black smoke from exhaust I don't know may be worth a shot. weird , god luck and let us know what happens.

sounds like you had a intercooler hose blow off

Dan long time pal how've you been? coming to the GTG sunday, sorry to jack thread..
wouldn't the car not go though with blown intercooler hose? just curious. And the black smoke from the exhaust?

Whew. Good catch. And congrats on not having to dissect the fuel system to find the cause.
