Just bought my XC90 about 3 weeks ago and the dealer had put on new pads on all wheels what brand and type unsure.

Well now one of my rear brakes is squeaking like crazy at low speeds. I was told from Big O Tires wheel shop that the dealer must of used some cheap pads. I agreed as dealers put as less of work in to all there cars on the lot.

Should I replace them? I saw that some state to not mess with high performance junk and just go OEM I found that IPD.com sells some rear OEM Volvo pads. Should I install these? I don't care about brake dust . http://www.ipdusa.com/products/6902/112630-rear-brake-pad-set-xc90

Let me know.

Thanks

Go OEM or you can use some of the anti-squeak goo. Unless it is CPO'd chances are the dealer took the car to an independent to do work. Makes no sense to me, but I imagine the bean counters figure is saves money...
