It's nice to see some pictures of the S40 in black. All the galleries I've seen do not have the car in black, which is the color I would like to get.

I also noticed that the black S40 does not have any badges in the back. Did it come from the factory like that?

 

Don't like the mesh wheels. The 5 spoke ones are much better.

The larger (18") wheels look nice, fill out the wheel wells, and offer potentially better handling, but it'd be nice to see some brakes that actually fit the wheels.

The S60 kit sucks. The S40 looks great except for the exhaust tips the guy chose.

Also, all european cars can be ordered badgeless.

I thought you could only delete the engine badge, not fully badgeless.

Never heard anything about the badge deletion involving the deletion of the model (eg. S40, S60, etc).

Whether it's an factory option or not.. ask your dealer and he'll removing anything you want. It's just using a blow dryer to remove the badges... it doesn't damage your car nor does it leave color differences.

It's not really a factory option in the states however the deleted badge is huge in Europe. I clearly don't know about Austrailia as I've never been.

On most BMWs the only thing on the back is the roundel. Same with Audi...just the rings. No A4 1.6 TDI Quattro, etc.
