Hi guys, been a lurker for some time and just started to post...
After much reasearch I have decided to add a Sports Kit to my 06R.
I was ready to move with the kit from MySwedishParts.com until someone suggested the regular S60 sport's kit would fit the R, plus the winglets.
Can anyone verify this? Would the rear apron from a kit for an '06 S60 fit the rear bumper of an S60R? This seems like it would be a much cheaper alternative as TASCAFORDPARTS.com has these kits for just over $1,0000.
Thanks guys!

I have a '05+ rear diffuser for a S60 (brand spanking new, never installed) sitting in my garage. It looks just like the pic above.
The exhaust opening is tight for the R but will fit, well you can see by the pic above.
Here is a link to some pics:
http://www.pbase.com/jh2007/s60_body_kit
You can ignore the front wing because that is strictly for a standard S60.
Its yours for $150 plus shipping.

Re: (lowenhart)

Since you have to weld a new tail pipe piece to complete the kit, wouldnt it be the same amount of work to just swap the tail pipe piece for one that fits fine in the non R bumper?

The exhaust is untouched in my photo. If you swap the tail pipe end, you will lose your dual exhuast?

Re: (lowenhart)

Yes, you would lose the dual exhaust. I am just not a fan of the look without the opening that was meant for the dual exhaust... If I was to keep the dual pipe, I would get the R apron.
Doing the math, it is not that much cheaper to get the non-R kit vs. the R kit. One would save at most $250. Better to just get the real deal for the R.
Thanks to all that responded.

Re: (YR01)

Since you have an '05+ the full kit costs considerably more than the kit for the '04.
http://www.trademotion.com/par...93288

They are... They had quoted me $1,799 for the kit plus paint.
I had a competitor quote me for less and they not only matched it, but also changed their pricing on the web site for everyone.
I wanted to buy from them from the start and now I am convinced they offer a pretty good deal. Plus top notch customer service, so far at least!

You'll spend the money, put on the kit, and the car will look great in your driveway. It really will.
In 6-8 weeks, you'll become discouraged when you, your friends and your spouse repeatedly have scraped, knocked off and repaired the winglets. Several times. Even driving as carefully as you can, taking driveways at angles, and driving blocks out of your way to avoid certain entrances/exits, it will happen. You'll either continue and continue to repair them (no shame in that), or you'll eventually adopt the "no winglet body kit" look. There are numerous threads showing it. It actually doesn't look too bad.
Leave it Volvo to design a poorly thought out, non-functional, looks only, taped on piece of body plastic that can engender this kind of devotion among R drivers.
