Trying to get a few more hp out of my standard S60. Found a cat-back system but I just want to make sure it's not too load and doesn't resonate on the highway. Anyone with success installing a sport exhaust on a non-turbo S60? supplier?

I'm going to be the first one out of the many with the same response. If you're looking at exhaust for performance on an n/a, don't waste your money. It's not worth it on an n/a S60.
If you want exhaust for the sound, you should remove the rear resonator, and just put a straight pipe in place. An exhaust shop should do it for less than $80. search "JRL mod".
But to answer your question, most aftermarket exhaust are going to be fairly loud, and especially on the highway.
http://www.eurosporttuning.com
http://www.ipdusa.com
http://www.vivaperformance.com

Does growl though at WOT. Never heard the exhaust at WOT outside my car but I don't think its too loud/ricey/obnoxious.

What brand is it?
My EST catback is pretty quiet for the most part, no droning at 65mph but at 80 there is a very slight resonance on the highway, not quite droning but a barely noticeable resonance.

i also have an n/a but won't waste money on a whole new exhaust. are there any videos of the JRL mod with stock exhaust? I'd like to hear how it sounds. I'm pretty good with cutting and welding so might be able to do it myself...

My mom actually drove my car a few times and never noticed an exhaust, so I hope that steers you in the right direction.
