Spoiler Pics.

I'm entertaining the thought of buying a rear spoiler. I'm thinking of going with the factory/replica spoiler. I think it adds a lot to the appearance, especially the factory/replica one because it is the tallest of the few choices we have for the S60, without being obnoxiously tall. So, I was wondering if those of you that have the spoiler that I'm reffering to, can you post pics of your car showing a good view of the car with the spoiler, this way I can get a better idea of what it will look like. Thanks

C'mon guys, there must be someone here with the factory/replica spoiler on their car.
I'm not sure if it would look good or not on green. Maybe you could consider matching the black on the impact strips, but that would be pretty hard unless they're still black, which you could always just use one of those molding refinishing kits.

I'm going to try and find more pics.

Not a fan of the wheels, but it does look great.

They're Ronal RT's. It's not my picture, it's just one that I found. They are relatively popular in the R forum, and they are really cheap, but the company went out of business. For some reason I can't find any pics.

hahaha, I think this might be the exaggerated version of the factory spoiler.

As much as I think the SD is sick, I hope you're not keeping that wing. I could see if the car was AWD/RWD, but come one, that's pretty ridiculous.

im pretty sure that one is gone.. he is driving the c30 now
Re: Spoiler Pics. (Impulse922)

I'm pretty sure he still owns it and is still working on it. He bought it only 2-3months ago if I remember the thread from volvospeed.
Johann I am jealous of the wing! BTW, that is an S60 Challenge factory wing for those who don't know.

I got a normal S60 AWD same color as this R, with factory spoiler and it....well looks like a factory spoiler. One of the less obtrusive spoilers out there....compared to an EVO or STI

:-(

Should've left it orange, and painted the mirrors orange. Creamsicle.
Re: (stealthS60AWD)

was your spoiler attached to the truck lid with adhesive or drill holes and use screws? oh and where did you purchase yours?

No offense man, but that wing is on the ricey side, it's way to big for an S60.
Re: (cmurphy2266)

Because Volvo Motorsport had no idea what they were doing right?

That doesn't make it look good on the car... Plus, it's not like it's a world renowned racing organization either.

That S60 is a FWD T5, so it would make traction worse. Just because it's done on a race car for actual benifits, doesn't mean it would look good on a street car.

I mean, this M3 is dirty, but you can't just put that wing on a street M3 and think it looks good... I mean, I really don't care what you guys do to your cars, but I'm just giving you my opinion.

S60 Challenge ran the same weekend as the STCC in Sweden. Was backed by Volvo. First race/promo event included such figures as Rickard Rydell.

Front splitter on car helps keep front end down, while rear spoiler helps to stabilize rear at higher speeds/cornering.
Re: (cmurphy2266)

I am going to have to agree with cmurphy and say the spoiler on your car is a bit much. I would say that it might work though if you had a body kit as well but alone it looks way out of place.
