I want to change my spark plugs, should I get Volvo OEM plugs? the IPD tune up kit? <A HREF="http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsList.aspx?subSubCategoryID=199" TARGET="_blank">http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsList.aspx?subSubCategoryID=199</A> or other plugs?<br>

We had these same discussion ot volvospeed, must people agree to go with the Bosch copper core plugs. And most agree to stay away from the platlinum plugs for a turbo engine.

ok that agrees with IPD's kit.<p><br>anyone else have any input?

Upgrading the plug wires might be a better idea? They deteriorate over time causing a weaker spark, even a high performance plug would suffer. By the end of this year I'm going to do my timing belt, serpentine belt and plug wires. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> <br>Think I'll stick with the OEM plugs because everything is temperature rated already.

I would replace the wires only if they are worn or depending on the milage of the car. 100k i would replace the wires.
