Spark plug wiring - potential problem

Hi Guys

Have anyone ever heard of problems with the spark plug wiring on the 2000-07 P2 models??

On my 2002 V70, I suspect the spark plug wiring being cracked, chafed or in general, some what faulty . Im having misfires on cylinder 4 and a faulty signal to coil 5. Its intermittentso it comes and goes without any pattern.
I changed plugs and coils less than 2000km ago.

I have seen people pinch the wires when reinstalling the cover, should be fairly obvious if you remove the cover andesign inspect the wires.

Yes. I saw at my Volvo mechanic S60R with all five wires completely chewed and cracked. Needless to say, it was shorting to the engine and cutting out.
Use liquitape or heatshrink, but make sure it can withstand corrosives from motor oil. Chances are you will spill some during oil change.
