I am currently using 18x8 inch wheels (BBS CH) with an offset of 40 on my s60T5. I am also using the s60R brakes.
I have clearence for my brakes (only about 2-3 mm) but would like a little more.
What do you think. Should I use spacers? If so how much? 5mm or 10mm?
What are the benefits?
Re: spacers or no spacers? (richieleo)

wider track will look a little more aggressive, but will increase turning radius...
5mm you can use stock lugs, 10mm you'll need longer lugs...
Don't know which size you'll need to get your desired clearance...

i used my trig./geometry skillz in autocad to determine if adding spacers and cutting the bump-stops would improve turning radius, and if you add 10mm spacers up front and 15mm in the back (irrelevant, but aesthetically pleasing), you could knock off 5' of turning radius...on the S60R. it will improve for others too, but to what extent i don't know.
spacers....

Re: (phuz)

Hey Matt,

When you say 10mm spacers in the front and 15mm in the back, are you saying 10mm and 15mm each side or do you mean 5mmx2 for the front and 7.5mmx2 for the rear?
