I am trying to find a factory trailer hitch for my 2006 V70 NA M56 wagon. All the aftermarket hitch receivers that I have found are 1-1/4 inch. The factory hitch receiver is 2 inch and is more versatile than a 1-1/4 inch receiver.

Tasca and a few other web sites list part number 31359467 as the bolt on factory hitch for 2006-2007 V70 (not XC70) and 2008-2016 V70/XC70. FCP Euro only lists 31359467 fitment as 2008-2016 V70/XC70. I suspect that 31359467 only fits P3 V70/XC70, not my P2 V70.

Does anyone have a 2006/2007 V70/XC70 with the factory hitch ? if so, could you provide the part number ? I would be happy to buy a used factory hitch if anyone knows a source.

I checked with my local Volvo dealer and the 2006 V70 hitch receiver kit 30682101 (supercedes 8682307) is no longer available. The 2006 XC70 kit is available as part number 30682087 (supercedes 8682306).

Aftermarket hitch receiver manufacturers for the P2 V70 / XC70 sell a single kit that works for V70 and XC70. I doubt there is much difference between the 2 Volvo OE kits - perhaps something about the rear muffler hanger stud.
