lovely wisconsin decided to ruin my freshly washed car the other night by throwing golfball to baseball sized hail at it. oh yay. I havent had a chance to bring it into my insurance company yet, but the damage isnt TOO bad. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to take out small dents without bringing it to a body shop and spending lots of $$$. There are only 5 or 6 dents, so I'm not too worried, but damn, I was trying to keep this thing nice

Re: soooo, yea i love hail (deep60)

Hello:

Look for a "Dent Wizard" facility in your area. This chain specialises in paintless dent removal; they coax the dent out of the car from the back side of the panel. They can do amazing things, and your car does not have to be repainted. If you don't have Dent Wizard in your area, search online for "paintless dent removal", then narrow it down by area until you find someone close to you.

One tip- pay for this out of your pocket. Your insurance will most likely cover it, but then you end up with a hail damage report on the car's Carfax info. Not good at resale time.

Hail dents aren't too tough for these guys.
They may have to lower your headliner but any good shop should be able to get you back to 100%
