I've got a brake job coming up on my Sonicama and am contemplating changing the color of the calipers, but I can't decide on any color that would look good. I'm thinking:

Red - Standard Brembo calipers
Yellow - Swedish pride!
Silver with blue Brembo stickers - I think it would look clean, but maybe too subtle
Orange - Make my Atacama pop a little more

Anyone have any ideas?

It's got anthracite wheels on it now:

When I read the first line of the post, my very first thought was, "What if you color matched the calipers to the interior?"

Has anyone done that before? Sonic is definitely the color it could/would work with.

I'd either go subtle with the silver and brembo logos or go big with as close an orange as you can match the interior. I think adding red or yellow introduces too many colors to an already loud palette.

I'd go yellow and add a few Swedish flag moose stickers some where also.

You gotta pick two or 3 colors and make that theme around the entire caR. I did black, magic blue and antracite. The less colors the better it looks. So I say bright silver to match the grille/headlights or do then black and plastidip the grille black

I would definitely say orange to match the Atacama.

Red wouldn't look that bad either.

Depends on if you want the look of a kid's car, or an adult's. Yes blue and orange are complimentary, but paired with yellow or another loud color it will be clown puke IMO. My vote is for the silver or leave them alone.

I don't want anything that will look too ridiculous, then when I think about the color combo already on the car, it's tough to get more clownish. : ) I'll likely leave them alone this go and powdercoat them if/when I upgrade to SS lines.

I think the 993 would look better with cherry red calipers that match the paint, but I prefer color matching instead of grabbing something outside the existing palette.

Orange! Or yellow. I used G2's orange to paint mine. Everyone comments on them. Doesn't quite match the Atacama, but it's nowhere near it so it works. Yellow with the blue would look good too.
