One weekend my dad and I went to the NC mountains and ran the Blue Ridge Parkway, stopping at all the scenic overlooks along the way. Great weather.
All clean and waxed, ready to go:

Fueling up:

Parked at an overlook:

Lined up:

An "old" 2002 model and still looking great:

I love a clean black car:

These tunnels you see in the background were fun, yet really frightening - the day was so bright and sunny that you could not see a thing upon entering the tunnels, even with the headlights on. I agree with you about the Harley's. Man, I'm so tired of those dumb-ass bikes. The owners think they are extra cool because their bikes are extra loud. I'm actually surprised they are legal.
I disagree with you on the wheels.though. I prefer your 05 wheels.
So who is faster? Older Z06 or C6?

Re: (luke8302)

C5 Z06 has 405 hp, C6 has 400 hp. The C5 Z06 is lighter, but just barely. The LS2 in the C6 has a broader torque curve, while the LS6 in the Z06 is peakier and pulls more as the RPMs build.
The topic has been beaten to death on the 'vette forum, and most agree it's a driver's race. If both drivers were equal, the C5 Z06 would be a tick or two quicker, but nothing to break a sweat over.
The C5 Z06 is a better toy, the C6 a better regular use car. The C6 produces 99.9% of the performance while having a removable top, a better interior, all the modern features and amenities, and can be daily-driven. The C5 Z06 is spartan inside, has no storage space, lacks features and amenities inside, but is raw and fun in a brutal way that the C6 comes close to but cannot replicate.
As a car I'd drive on Saturday for only a few hours, I would probably take the C5 Z06. As a car I drive every day, C6 please!
