Well, I thought I should announce that I sold my Cabriolet last month.
Heres a pic the day I got it about two years ago.

Now.. part of the reason I was motivated to sell was that I wasn't impressed with the driving experience. It rattled over bumps, shook on the highway, and the Auto Tranny drove me nuts. Just did not feel solid at all.
I was hoping to correct this with a manual transmission coupe.
I hate to leave C70's completely because they are stylish and dependable...
so...
With its metal roof, is a coupe more stable and solid feeling?

Re: Sold the Cabriolet may consider Coupe (eurotrash_pd)

Like a rock.
98 Convertible's were s***. The Coupes, despite being the first MY, are quite reliable and solid. I've had mine for almost a year and have had no problems.

The Coupe is much better than the Convertible. Its stiffer, handles better, and it looks better as well from the rear. Always buy manual. I drove an auto 2.4T after I bought my 2.4T manual, and the difference is like night and day. With auto, it makes the engine feel a whole category smaller. So sluggish and numb.
Stay away from the 2.0T, especially in auto. You wont be going anywhere fast in that.
