I have a 96 855 w/ 190k+. Trans has really started fading(FAST), it's dropping fluid like a VW. Sourcing a replacement now, and I know they're out there.
My question is, being still semi-new to Volvo, What other things are good to take a look at / replace while the subframe is down?. IPD sways will go in, as well as a new rear main seal. Is there anything else?, these cars are a little more expensive to open up. Any input would be cool.
Thanks! Scott

If you are loosing fluid, fix the fluid leak! You may not have a bad tranny at all.

No question about that!
Not doing the RMS would be throwing your money for labor away.
