Hey guys <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"> I'm back (sorta) -- I've been away for about a year since i got rid of the R, but I figured i'd pop back in and see what everyone's up to, and see if there's been any progress in the mod/power arena <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"> So what kind of new mods have popped up in the last year and what kind of power is everyone making? <p>I've been thinking about getting back into an R as a daily -- I've driven the M3 over 20k miles in the year i've had it, and now it's out of warranty so I'm really looking for something that's reliable, costs less to fix, and still fun (of which I already know the R is all three). Plus with prices coming down a lot, that only helps my decision <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"><p>Obligatory pics of when I still had both:<p><IMG SRC="http://a235.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/115/l_eddf7209dd42de9f600368f4bca241aa.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://a121.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/82/l_d764cef9ea516983955dd9db3441ec00.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>CLK is my Mother's<br><IMG SRC="http://a710.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/94/l_10927f381d3ed6dd161cf249c63e71fd.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://a534.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/123/l_585679a73d0b84ada8e576859c018665.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>

I have always wondered what I actually do have. Per IPD my ECU put me at 290hp/285tq but I have a Jacobs Ignition, IPD intake and minor exhaust upgrade so I would think I should be over 300 with those.

We have got to get you down to Atlanta to run on a slow track like Atlanta Dragway in Commerce GA.<p>Is your car a MT or GT?<p>If you can run faster than a 13.285 with your mods then your car is truly a freak.

There was a white E46 M3 at Atlanta Dragway on Saturday night running 14.1s all night long.

Take no offense, your car is a freak and I would love to see you toast this slow track here at Atlanta Dragway. The look on people's faces when the grocery getter runs quick is just priceless.
