I drove the R to Toronto for a wedding this weekend and I'm amazed to see so many other Rs here. So far I've seen a silver R with a roof rack on QEW today, a TI grey with atacama in Mississauga, another silver one with a body kit in the middle of Toronto and a black one on a random street. ....it's gotta be the AWD
Is it anybody on this forum?

Re: So many R's in Toronto (tomedkaz)

There are a few, but they are still pretty rare here in TO. I'm surprised to see them when I do. I'm not any of them that you mentioned; the AWD, styling, and rarity of the R sold me....plus we still have an 850 with over 500,000 kms.

I don't see too many. In Thornhill there are two that I see sometimes: A lady-driven '04 black saph atacama S60R with Ti Pegs and a blackedout '06 (or maybe it's an '07) sonic blue wagon. Downtown TO I used to see an '05 black saph and last fall on the DVP I saw a silver S60R (lady-driven, and I was right beside her and honked a few times but she ignored me until she figured out why I was honking and then sped off when I asked her for her number )

Just north of TO (around 407/Dufferin St) Ferrari sightings are much more common that R sightings.

This is turning into a sightings post
LTA
My lease ended more than a year ago, but I still troll here once in a while. I replaced it with a 335xi coupe.
Funny, much like LTA Ferrari and Lambo sightings are much more common, but it seems that since i got rid of my R I see them all the time downtown.
btw. I might have some 17" lightweight rims if anyone is interestd. Enkei CDR-9 I think. Jim Lill had a set when I got them.

Re: (ibanezplayer)

I think the Enkei's were only available in 17x7 right? What width tire were you running on them?
They are about 3.5 lbs lighter than the 17 inch pegs.
Cheers,
Jeff

I've been in Toronto all weekend and haven't seen any. Seen a lot of Ferraris, a few Aston Martin's, a few R8's and a surprising amount of G Wagons...

I agree, you don't see too many R's around here, In Hamilton, I've seen 3 in total since i can remember. Two were SR's and a vERY nice black, lowered with black pegs VR. In Toronto, i've seen 2 VR's. What is more surprising is the dealer near my house (the only one in Hamilton) has 4 R's for sale.

See them more often than R's.

Will send you an email with pics.
