I need to let blah blah reset and relearn??

Unhook the battery cables and let them touch together for a while??

Sounds bizarre.......

Just drive it and take it easy at first. A tune would do wonders for that setup.

The ECU is smart. It will adjust to the data it's pulling in. If it sees cooler IAT, it will get you more power.

I've considered a tune but the car has almost 170k miles.

Should that be a worry???

Do a stage 0 on it.

Are you burning oil? How's your clutch? Could do a leakdown test to get an idea of the engine's health.

Uses no oil.
Clutch rattles with the a/c on in the summer. Was told it's probably a smf noise. Works just fine.

Engine seems solid and runs good. I've done lots of maint to the entire car. It was a bit neglected when I bought it.

It's a proper money pit!!!!

I’m at 168k. Are you kidding? It’s a Volvo. My VR keeps the fluids level after all hard rides and when she sits for a bit. No leaks. Just keep an eye on all temps. That’s why I have the CFE+. It will save your car. Besides it’s a Volvo. Built like a brick house. Just keep up with maintenance according to Volvo.
