I like the rims.
IPD VMS Wheel - Hyper Black Finish
Specs: 26 pounds actual weight
ipd#: IPDVMS18838
Fitment: 18x8 inch size with 38mm offset
Will NOT fit R models

Where can I get these style rims for the s60r, or is there a solution for these?

The problem is that the wheels don't clear the R calipers. You could get spacers, but i'm not sure how much you have to space them by, you're better off asking lucky about that.
Otherwise you could remove the brembos.....lol, no.

Re: (cmurphy2266)

I think you had to use 10 mm spacers to make it work? Either way, paired with the wheels offset, this resulted in the wheel sticking out too far IIRC. IPD basically didn't recommend it and I don't believe anyone has put them on an R for this reason. There have been numerous threads about potential group buys for these style rims, but none have come to fruition. I think HRE has a rim this style, but it cost $$$
From Ask IPD Forum:
As for fitting these to a P2R, don't hold your breath. The 10mm of spacing required to properly clear the R calipers means the hub doesn't engauge the wheel and therefore a hubcentric spacer is required. This adds considerably to the overall cost and puts the wheels so far out that with stock body parts it just isn't viable.

If your heart is in getting this wheel, you'd absolutely require spacers - but not just any spacer...you need to get "hub centric" spacers. H&R makes the correct spacers for our hub diameters. You need to look carefully in your purchase. I don't believe H&R makes 10mm spacers - last I remember, VIVA carries 10mm, but expensive. H&R carries 5mm, 15mm, 20mm, etc.
And once you get to that size spacer, you might get into other issues with them, such as needing your fenders "rolled" to allow for the width increase in your track.

If you like wheels like the IPD ones, then look at these. I tried getting them but they were backordered until the end of June (this week). I may look into these again in July. About $155/wheel
http://www.msrwheels.com/auto_...d=411

Those will fit the R? With or without spacers? Good find. Also, know how much they weigh?

I went to test fit the rim with a rim they had in another PCD. The offset is 35mm so 10mm would be ill-advised.

Do you have any clearer pictures with the rims installed (with tires)?
I have been looking for a black rim with red stripe (or maybe silver stripe) around the outside and this looks good (CSL style)
