So, I should install the Heico's? I have them new in the trunk but still not sure. If not, I'm selling them.
I was thinking about doing just the rear (since the rear fender gap is wider), or not installing them at all. The thing is my front tires rub against the fender when I fully turn the wheels. I wouldn't like to make this worse by installing lowering springs. I measured from the ground to the edge of the fender and there was about 1.12" of difference in fender gap. This would get almost even if I just install the springs in the rear. Now, do the Heico springs really lower 1.2" or do they drop more once they've settled? Feedback needed!
This is how the car looks right now with the factory suspension:

But, then, I couldn't sell them as being new. Even if they are just test fitted. THey generally get scratched. Unless it's someone from this forum that knows the situation.

They would allow ur car to sit perfect and when i was talking with them they said most they ever heard them drop was 1.3 because the car was loaded with audio and they set a little lower so i would say 1.2 1/2 at most u will not regret the lowering

The rear fender gap is so ugly on our cars, throw the springs on you wont be disappointed. As for the tires rubbing you may have to wide of a tire, in any case maybe a small front wheel spacer may be necessary.

Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

The tires are 225/40-18 . The tires will rub only when turned all the way to the right, no big deal. Perhaps with the springs they will rub before the steering reaches the limit. A mounting kit with steering limiters (under $50 w/s&h) might solve the problem. Now, is there a way to lower more the rear? I love how BMWs and such have a nice even fender gap btween front and rear and I read coil adjusters are crap. And, please don't say I should throw in my mother-in-law's dead body in the trunk so the rear would look lower.

+1 on the bimmer thing but i think the fronts too high on bimmers. audi's sit perfect i think. I would throw some springs in if it rub who cares let those suckers blow. just look at the Dane's car.

Yeah BMW's have retarded uneven fender wells thats why the rears tuck when the front fender gap is barely moved I cut half a dead coil out of my Evolve springs and it sits about where it should be on a set of springs.
However coilovers are the way to go. Just not satisfied with the drop of springs available. I come from a long line of lowered vehicles though which none had fender gap so i guess this time i just feel out of place with my S40 lol.
Im running 225's as well on my 18's with zero rubbing, must be your guys wheel offset... guess my 38mm offset wasnt such a bad idea after all haha

I'm surprised you have any rubbing at all. I have the same wheels and don't have any issues. As of yet haven't lowered it but I'm saving for coilovers. I would take your car back to whoever put your tires on and get them realigned or at worst get some spacers.
