Hi there,
I'm not concern about "regulator" part but graphite brushes live span. Car has 220.000 miles and I'm going to keep it for a while.. On my former 740 regulator went when car had about 200k miles - because of contacts were totally worn.
Does it make sense to replace a voltage regulator because of mileage? On one hand it doesn't, on another - the car is off the road and I don't need to do additional work to get to the generator - serp belt is out already and I have DD.
Thanks
