[99_V70R]

I am looking at a black 1999 V70R. I am concerned though because of the mileage. It has 107K miles on it and has recently had the timing belt, spark plugs and wires, and o2 sensor changed and turbo rebuilt. Are there any common problems that I should know about or is there a reason I should stay away from this car? I want it really bad!

You should check that the ETM, electronic throttle module, have been replaced.
From -99 to -02 the used etm´s by Magneti Marelli, and they wear out...
Don´t be afraid of a little mileage on an P1 V70 if it´s well taken care of...

as nice as these cars are -- they are very expensive to own.

You need to have a VOLVO mechanic look at it, paying attention to the transmission and every part encompassing the AWD.
Obviously he should look for the common ailments at these miles and
check the front end, most need rebuilding at these miles and all the other Volvo issues, (he should know what to look for).

I would be very concerned why the turbo went bad at 100K miles, they're usually good for the life of the car if it was serviced properly or at least to 150-160K miles
