My shifter has some play in it when it goes into gear, it's not to crazy but I figure it wouldn't be a bad idea to change out the bushings at 116k

The diagram I found online doesn't really provide that good of information.

Does anyone have part numbers or listings for the bushings? I would prefer to just do all of them while I'm there.

Thanks!

I don't think they exist unless you buy new cables. Don't quote me though.

bushings at the end of the M66 cables do not exist on their own. i recently spent several weeks chasing down every bit of info I could find, to no avail. if u want new bushings you will have to make them yourself.

Same goes for the shift pivot bushings at the shifter, they are only sold with a new assembly. With only 116K, they shoudn't be bad. Cables usually bind when failing, not from play. Have you got someone else who can look while you wiggle the shifter?

I've got 258k on mine, bushings are still tight, apparently. The shifting action is just as precise as the 91 Miata I also drive, with 40k miles.
