The 240 has been acting a little weak since we bought it, and since the weather got warm, it's been acting a little odd.
Anyway, on the suggestion of one of our forum members who works there (Rob, Volvorules), I booked an appointment at European Auto Service in Silver Spring, MD.
Rob wasn't in when I went down, but his boss John was, and John went to town on the car. In addition to fixing my motor probs, he went over the suspension, exhaust and various other rattling componentry with a fine tooth comb. The difference on the car is like night and day, and for that I figured I'd give a shameless plug.
I've been taking the car to some other shops around, but none who've exhibited that kind of throrough work.
His number if you want it is 301.565.9023

I hope I find a dealer like that when I get back to the states. Good dealers should be rewarded with more business. Plug away!
Glen

Yeah, I was gonna add to this...
Even I've never had anyone else in Rob's shop to work on my car besides Rob himself....but he has always been helpful and very reasonable on price.
I'm sure if there is something more involved which Rob has no experience in, his boss should be able to take care of it without any problem.
Friendly people.

I actually asked for Rob but he was caddying or something according to his boss.
I've been nothing but impressed by both Rob and John.
