My engine service required light comes on but no check engine light and no codes with my scanner. I have a 2007 s60 2.5t automatic. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. I also have an 07 SR. But the issue is with the 2.5t

Isn't that just telling you it's time for an oil change?

I'd check the owner's manual, because if you don't have a check engine light or any stored codes, then a "service engine" message is weird.

That's what I thought. Does the message stay on or does it go off after a bit? If the latter, than its the maintenance message which comes at 15K miles for MY '05.

Cheers,

Bill

The oil change message that comes on every 5k miles is " Time for Regular Maintenance" I believe.

Finally got my Visa computer in. Had code cem 650b cooling fan signal missing. Found 60 amp fuse blown. Which by the way is hidden in the bottom of engine bay fuse box. Going to get another fuse today. And see if that fixes the problem. I already swapped cooling fans. So the fuse shouldn't blow again. Will update in the next couple of days.
