On my 2004 V70R, I've been using Pilot Super Sports from April to November and I have a set of PA2s that I've been using from November to April in Chicago. I do less driving in the winter, so even though the PA2s are a couple years old, they still have around 8/32 of the original 11/32 tread depth left -- but one of the PA2s is damaged. Under its road hazard warranty, Costco would give me a pro rata reimbursement for a replacement tire, but I'm having a hard time finding a PA2 sized 225/45R17. (Michelin is already up to the PA4.) If anyone has one or knows of a source, please let me know. Alternatively, if you might like three of them (assuming I can't find one), please let me know that. I've found the PA2 to be great in cold dry and wet but disappointing in snow. My expectations for grip in snow may have been unrealistic, though, and I've never gotten stuck -- plus the tread life has been great -- so I do want to find another PA2 if I can.
