Ive got an 01 T5 and the seat warmers dont work. Is this a common problem and if so is there a fix that doesnt involve the dealership?
Thanks,

You may need them "turned up". The default setting on my 04 was pretty low so I had the dealer raise the settings with a VADIS download.

Looking at an owners manual for a 2001 c70, the seats warmers involve an ambient temperature sensor and then the heating level is regulated. When the optimum heating level is reached, the heating is turned off. I'm guessing in August, in FLA, the Volvo specified heat level is reached pretty quickly.. I have a customer with a 2000 V70 they just bought and their perception is the seat warmers don't work.. I believe whether a 2001 s60, C70 or V70, testing the seat warmers in August is not a reliable test.
