Re: sct tuning ("R" Kelly)

Hi Kelly,
Just wondering about the thumbs down....Any particular story to go along with it....maybe a picture or two?
I realize SCT isn't the most highly regarded company from a popularity view, but what is it that puts them into the league of Richard, Edge Racing, Gary and Bo type company?
Kevin

SCT makes Bo look like customer service employee of the year.
Basically, SCT announced a year ago they were now shipping softloader for S60R and they had Stage 2 programming, So, instead of just buying BSR PPC (all I was going to do while overseas), I contacted them, sent my CC#, ECU# and VIN#. Then I bought a DP from Richard and had it installed. Still no soft loader. I bought a BMC. No soft loader. I bought an exhaust. Still no softloader. Then, they stopped returning my calls, kept pushing back dates, lying some more, etc. Eventually I was left with every mod in preparation for softloader, but no software, and no explanation as to what happened.
And since BSR wasn't compatible with DP, I was stuck with every mod I didn't want, and not the one I did.

I waited TWO years for SCT's promised solution AND IT NEVER MATERIALIZED. It simply doesn't exist for the R. Period.

Quote, originally posted by s60rnewbie »

so which means nobody in this forum ever tried SCT soft loader before? so sad, thought can get some feedback from you guys..
