The dealer told me that with the free maintenance that came with my 2005 S40, I could bring the car in anytime within a mileage window of
+/- 1500 miles. So for the 15,000 mile, at 13,500 or 16,500 miles.
I received a new owners package in the mail from Volvo says that the car comes with 3 year, 36,000 mile scheduled maintenance, does this mean I can actually bring it in at 37,500 to do the maintenance?
I'm not sure what to make of what the dealer says because they also told me that 2005 Volvos only come with 3 year 30,000 mile free maintenance. That's obviously wrong as it contradicts the mailing from Volvo corporate.

Re: Scheduled Maintainence Question (Seitch)

http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=63207
Since you have 2005, you get 4 free scheduled service at 7500, 15000, 22500, and 30000. 37500 is outside the 36000 mile so it is not free. You are correct you can bring it in anytime +- 1500 of the scheduled mileage.
Seems to be different in europe. Here we have to take the car to the dealer each year or 20.000km, whatever comes first. (12500 miles)
