So I pulled the trigger and registered to go to Nationals despite some hardships at work that are going to make it very Difficult. Hoping to draw some serious attention to the S60 for Volvo there. I'm the heaviest car in the class by a large margin. The internet Forum's have written the car off as to heavy despite being .142 off the current national champion at an event back in March. So lets Fingers Crossed and Pray for Rain (only AWD car in the class). I gave up on trying to get a set of shocks made, Time and money were a big factor. I made the decision to purchase an exhaust only to talk to Viva and find out they are 8 weeks out with Nationals 4 weeks out. So that made that decision very easy. Instead I'll spend the money on testing different tire combinations and alignment settings. I picked up a set of the new V2 RS3 today in a 265 front and 235 rear (as they aren't made in a 245 rear) and had them shaved to be the same outside diameter. Going to test them vs the Dunlop DZII's which are currently 275/245 combo. Got a buddy who works at a vinyl shop that said he could wrap the car to look like an aussie V8 but we will see if that comes through. See if I can bring a Solo Championship for Volvo in the underdog. I managed to get the same Number I was last time I went when I won a National Championship!
