Okay, I'm sure that it's posted somewhere here but I've had no luck. I'd like to purchase Satellite radio for my mother's S40T. She has either an 05 or 06, I don’t know which, but it's the new style. I'd like her to be able to use it with her existing radio and steering controls w/o anything else cluttering up the dash. Any thoughts anyone?
Incidentally, the lack of seamless IPod integration into the S40 was a major reason that I didn't buy an S40 for myself. I know that some of you here have now figured out a way to do it. But this cool looking slim center stack is proving inflexible when adding common audio accessories. Who wants to clutter up such a beautiful interior with aftermarket audio modules that aren’t integrated?

The cleanest install I've seen here is someone that integrated a satellite radio with modulator into their S40 and then did a nice job installing the head unit up front.
UKMatt

Re: Satellite Radio (ukmatt)

i had mine done at the dealership pthey instaleld a clarion head unit up in the front its really vool cause the bracket is hiden by the headliner. The only problem is that it goes through the radio. It has an fm modulator whihc sometimes i have interferance, but besides that it is pretty cool.
